I was actually planning to study the hands of three young Indian politicians who are often in the media and who belong to three major political parties of India, namely Tejasvi Surya, Kanhaiya Kumar and Raghav Chadha. But I have only found decent palm photos of Kanhaiya, not the other two. Then, I thought of burying the matter, but while searching for images, I also came across the news that Raghav Chadha has got engaged to the Hindustani/Bollywood film actress Parineeti Chopra. I did not find good hand samples of Chopra either, but anyway then let me do a very limited study of the Chadha and Chopra pair from the very basic photos I have got. Both seem to be right-handers, by the way.

I have only shown here a couple of pictures from the corpus I could collect. Parineeti Chopra’s hand pictures with me are of a much better quality than Raghav Chadha’s, so let me address the former first.

The major hand of Parineeti shows a significant gap between head and life lines: thus, not just a person who grew up confidently and knowing her identity from the very beginning, but this on the rash side. This is further accentuated by an extremely long thumb, signifying obstinacy, and a very large gap between the Apollo and Mercury fingers, meaning a significant freedom of action. All in all, a very impetuous, obstinate person from the looks of it. None of the finger joints have any knots as well to obstruct the impetuosity. The Mercury finger, in particular, is a quite tapering one and is unusually long, plus the Mount of Mercury is, quite unusually, set quite high, even more than the Mount of Apollo: someone who is quite shrewd, has a good business acumen and is good in communication skills but probably with a very straightforward style of communication. Add to it a low-set thumb and the position of the head line with respect to the heart line: a person who follows on what she’s set her heart on. At the same time, the heart line shows only a slight idealism, not much: someone, rather, who tends to look after her self-interests. The lower Mount of Mars is not the best quality, adding or reinforcing a certain fractiousness to the mix. It would require a smart, capable person to handle a relationship with her. Can Chadha, a politician, do that?

Chadha’s hand photos (I have some with a flat palm as well) are not much clear, but what one does see is his quite big (but not full) Mount of Venus and what looks like a broad heart line. This indicates a man who enjoys sensual pleasure and whose quality of affection, in general, is not deep. In addition, his heart line, while showing a bit more idealism than Chopra’s does, also indicates a man given to protecting his self-interests first (just like Chopra). The lower Mount of Mars is also too big and not of the best quality either, indicating an aggressiveness either from him or from his family troubling him. The career looks ordinary from the point of 36 onwards till at least around the age of 51, and there seems to be some domestic or health setback at around the age of 36. Note also that Chadha’s thumb is high-set, so he does not seem to be as open, generous and straightforward as does Chopra. There probably are influence or worry lines between the mounts of (lower) Mars/Venus and Sun/Mercury, as some kind of blurred lines can be seen, but in the absence of any good photo, nothing can be made of it.

As Chadha was someone I was anyway considering for hand analysis, and given the topicality of him getting engaged with Chopra, I have done this limited hand analysis, otherwise I would be usually relying on better hand scans or photos of public figures for an analysis.
