Life coaching

I also offer life coaching services, that is, counselling on specific or general issues or direction of your life. If you share your palm pictures with me in advance, then that is better for me, as I also know you better then, but even otherwise I could give you insights into your life and counselling.

I bring empathy as well as my own philosophy of thinking, based on the Hindu concept of dharma, to your problems. I listen to you well and then offer your my insights.

My own philosophy of thinking is what I call as svasatya. It would roughly translate both to ‘one’s own truth’ and ‘the Truth with oneself’. These two complementary realities make up our existence. I am a minuscule part of the Universe, and I am also the Universe. I am a Part of the Whole, and also the Whole. My consciousness is that horizon at which these two never-meeting twain seem to meet.

A simpler description of my philosophy, svasatya:

A person is a product of their own present consciousness of being, their senses that define their body, their memories, imaginations and fears and the external environment that is acting upon them. Too often, we are trapped in memories, imaginations and fears, forgetting the fact that our cells and molecules and atoms die continually and new ones keep getting born: are we the same as we were a few years back, or even a few moments back? Our physical bodies are actually not. But we are unable to let go, unable to seek ourselves, and thus unable to realise ourselves. Our realisation lies in understanding our truth: our senses, and, if we could go beyond them, our consciousness. Rather than abhor the sensual, we could embrace the sensual, but yet not to get lost in them but with a clear purpose and direction to know ourselves better. To reach our svasatya.

This is a philosophy I have devised and distilled from my own experiences as well as the Eastern precepts and wisdom I grew up surrounded with. And this is what I would like to help you with.

In order to be able to help you, it is important for both of us to be open, otherwise neither of us would learn anything. There is nothing moral or immoral if you delve deep into your consciousness, so there is no need to inhibit yourself from saying or expressing anything.

You must also understand that life coaching or counselling is a very different thing from therapy. If you think you need a therapist, rather, then you should seek the help of a therapist.

If you do need my services, then drop me an email at palmistankur@gmail.com with ‘Life coaching’ as subject line, and we could take it forward from there on.
