I only have been able to find one very ordinary photo of both the hands of Zendaya, a quite popular actress and singer these days, and one photo of her minor hand, so I will also use astrology later on in this post to fill in on the timings.

Let us start with the photo of both hands.

This photo’s quality is too poor to make any timing predictions, but one can still judge quite a bit of the person from this.

The fingers, except for the Mercury finger, are longish, and the fingertips are squarish. This gives a certain attention to detail and at the same time reflects she is somewhat pragmatic. The heart line reinforces the pragmatism idea. The Mercury finger is not that long in both the hands: even though the mount of Mercury is not low set, the finger just crosses the Apollo finger’s top phalange bar. The Mercury finger is slightly emaciated, too, relatively speaking. This seems to indicate to me some kind of sexual misadventure or unfortunate incident at a young age. Judging from her solar arcs and solar returns, I would estimate this to have happened between the ages of 11 and 12. This incident, coming so early in life, probably led to a deep-seated anger and changed her a lot as a person.

Also see the Jupiter and Saturn fingers’ tips bending towards Apollo. This indicates some kind of depression or insecurity about identity. This is reinforced here by an abnormally long conjunction of head line and life line. It in fact is separating only around the ages of 30-31. Solar arcs and returns confirm that at the age of 30-31, especially during the months around the 31st birthday, she would become truly conscious of what she wants in life, of her needs. Now this seems strange to hear for someone who has achieved so much success and that too from a young age itself, but it is not that behind every success is clarity of thought. The age range of 29-31, in fact, should be quite eventful for her, including some significant success but also stressful events, bringing another big change in who she is.

While we are at the head and life lines, notice also the quite different-from-usual curve of the life line. There is that deep-seated anger or hurt, whether subconscious or operating at a more conscious level, till this age of 30-31, and which, with greater clarity of mind, dissolves into more softness at that age.

The very next year, at the age of 32, may bring a focus on family life because of some challenging incident. It could be the death of a family member. The years 32-33 could be challenging.

Now the quality of this picture is not too good, so I hope that her head line in reality is better than that shown in the picture. Because if it is the kind shown in the picture, with all the other context, it could mean a significant depression. On looking at her birth chart (shown below, courtesy Astrodienst), the 12th house ruler is in its fall and in the 2nd house, and the 12th house itself is occupied by Neptune and Uranus, with Neptune attacking the Mars-Venus conjunction in Cancer in 6th. Thus, the subconscious is racked by a certain insecurity, a questioning of self-worth (it may sometimes come across in several people as a desire to make a lot of money in order to “prove oneself to oneself,” and I don’t know if this is also the case with her or not).

The badly afflicted Venus (the ruler of 4th), even though dignified well in essential terms, shows the home life to be challenging for the native, whether as a child or as an adult later. The spouse or the partner she lives with may be good and in long-term commitment and fulfil her needs of communication and passion, but because the spouse may not be able to see her subconscious needs, she may feel restless in the home life.

Going back to her hands, both her Venus and Luna are good, and the quadrangle is excellent: thus, a broad-minded person and having a good luck, energy and drive for success in career. Astrologically, too, a good career overall is seen, though with occasional bouts of difficult times, which one would expect in the life of an artist. However, the Luna is a bit too exaggerated, reinforcing the possibility of depression. This also means she should be careful of water. Health seems robust enough, but at around 39-40 there could be an issue, maybe correlated with depression. At around 43-44, life could take a sudden new direction, and she needs to be particularly careful of succumbing to depression at the age of 44.

Overall, a good career, but there seems to be much going on between the two ears. If she were my client, I would have strongly advised her to practise meditation actively and regularly as one of the remedies.
