Major hand: right, b. 1971
The first thing to notice is his rectangular palm and short fingers, what is called a fire hand. A very typical fire hand.

Fire hand brings a certain combustibility: excitement and intensity. Such a person is goal oriented but also exhibits emotional repression. The little finger is of average length, thus it is not that the emotional repression part is being cancelled out. Such a person will prefer some action (rather than communication, say) when trapped in an emotional situation. The fire hand also denotes impatience, but in the case of Musk, it is mitigated by his somewhat knotty fingers. So he does go into details of things, has the ability to think through without rushing. However, at the same time, a thumb on the small side denotes lack of self-mastery, self-discipline. Thus, in spite of his thinking through, he may still be unable to withhold himself saying things, doing things. In all his pictures, his Mercury finger stands out a bit, the way he carries his hand. This denotes independence of action, that he doesn’t care much about what others will say. Note that this is a very common feature on almost all celebrity hands I analyse here: one does not become a big shot usually if one also cares too much about what others will say.
Let us look at the fingers again. The Jupiter finger top phalange bends towards Saturn, pointing to a lack of security felt by Musk. The fourth finger’s joints are just a touch staggered, pointing to just a touch of neurodivergence, but nothing very pronounced. One also sees some issues in childhood because of his health from his mount of Ketu. Looking at the mounts, it is the upper Luna that is singularly pronounced. Thus, an extraordinary creativity, but more on the practical side of it rather than the poetic side. Ideal for an innovator. This also gives a certain coldness to the person, which, in my opinion, would not be compensated by even a fine mount of Venus, giving warmth, passion and physical robustness (the latter getting further confirmed by an inner life line accompanying almost throughout the life; see below picture). This is further exacerbated by a certain narrowness of mind, evinced by a narrow quadrangle under Saturn and Sun.

The mounts of Venus and upper Moon are developed in both hands, as one can see, as are Jupiter and Mercury. The development of these mounts in itself denotes a very good fortune for the subject, unless marred by extremely bad signs in the hand. There is no particular mount that looks bad on his hand, though Apollo does look a bit deficient, which is more than made up by an excellent Apollo line, promising him riches and fame. The riches are further confirmed by a good money triangle. A deficient Apollo does give him a mixed fame: while many are fans of Musk, many find him the epitome of all that they hate or dislike.
Going to the lines, his head line is decent and long, with a small fork at the end, thus good intellect and some range of thought, though not overly large. Its chief fault is its giving way to sentiment for a long part of his life. The heart line is much better than many people of this day and age, giving him a certain constancy in affections as well as an idealism and even a small degree of romanticism. Musk also shows a clear, unbroken passion line, giving him an extremely abstract and visual sexual imagination. Born in a rich family, he has multiple fate lines, but it is the self-made component that dominates. At around the age of 35, clearly, there is a lot happening on the career front in his life: he is switching to something different as well as opening parallel ventures. When I check on Wikipedia, this is the time around which he became an investor in Tesla, helped create SolarCity and founded SpaceX. One of these ventures seems to end for Musk at around the age of 50, the age Musk is at now, so it would be interesting to watch. At around the age of 45, one can see a new venture in his hand, which seems to continue strongly till around the age of 61. This could be OpenAI, this could be Starlink, this could be Neuralink. I suspect it is Neuralink.
At around the age of 50, one sees financial troubles, too, in the life of Musk. Probably this points to the Twitter saga. Musk, however, is wealthy, so I don’t know if even an unwise acquisition of the service would have put any dent in Musk’s fortunes. What is important is that from now onwards, Musk does not seem to be that strong financially or careerwise, with some setback (this could also be a personal setback) at around the age of 52 or 53, and in his early sixties, his career seems to be weakening or fizzling out. This is also accompanied by a loss of vitality from that age onwards. I suspect a board ouster or something like that from a company he has his heart deeply into, leading him to a loss in motivation and vitality from his early sixties onwards. A loss of vitality would not mean more than that, as his constitution is robust, and at most times of his life some kind of inner life line is always there. He will most likely have a long life, with an 85+ age. He should, however, guard against drowning. Musk has a very good hand, aided by excellent Apollo and Mercury lines, but his hands indicate that the best of his times are done: decline has started. While hands can always change, Musk will have to make an effort to arrest the decline and put himself back on the path to progress. His current path’s projected future is decline, which has already started.
