Entrepreneurs: Elizabeth Anne Holmes

I don’t have much by way of a decent hand picture from the imprisoned Elizabeth Holmes, convicted of fraud for her role in blood testing firm Theranos. But even a basic photo of her hands suffices to indicate that this person could perpetrate fraud.

First some basic facts of life: born 1984, major hand is right.

(Elizabeth Holmes’ photo from 2014)

Note the crooked and slightly clubbed Mercury finger in both hands. Need one say more? The bent Mercury finger, not short, is showing someone silver-tongued: good persuasive skills, and which could go in the realm of exaggerating or lying. Useful skills to attract venture capital firms’ investment. The clubbed tip of the finger intensifies this get-what-you-want attitude in the realm of money (or sex, in other cases), besides also lending the very practical skills of a spatulate ending. What else one can notice?

A large palm, small fingers. The latter gives a certain impatience with details, a certain quickness to act. Again, good physical and practical skills. Also, note the hollow in the plain of Mars area.

(Elizabeth Holmes pictured in July 2017)

The hollow in the plain of Mars area is showing misfortune in worldly affairs, business, etc. By the time this photo was taken, misfortune had already struck, but the hollow is very striking in both her hands in the 2014 photo, too, when she was the darling of investors. Notice also the standing alone Mercury finger in the above photo: a very good independence of action. In a summary, someone who is quick and not reluctant to act, with good physical and practical skills and with a silver tongue which could have a propensity to lie and profit. The quadrangle is a bit narrow, the head line being displaced slightly towards heart line, thus pointing to sentiment or desire clouding decision-making. A very good mount of Venus reinforces the good physicality of the subject.

Nothing much else can be said given the poor quality of the photos I could find of her hands, but this shows how important even a basic hand analysis can be in business decisions.

  1. […] public domain, so this will be a brief post, but, as I had shown when discussing another fraudster Elizabeth Holmes’ hand, I thought it important to discuss even the limited material I have in the light of the conviction […]
