Major hand: right, b. 1978
The quite-young politician is often touted to be Donald Trump’s rival for Republican candidature to the 2024 U.S. presidential polls. Without a hand print in itself, with all the attendant markings, it is difficult to read specific kind of successes and failures, but let us see who he is. I have got a couple of decent photos from the Web of his hands.

(Undated, but prior to November 2022)

(Both hands of Ron DeSantis seen in a December 2020 picture)
What does one notice immediately? Small fingers, big, square palm. A practical person given not much to imagination or too many details. The thumb is good and neither too high or nor low set. A man who wants the work done, is well balanced in his benevolence (neither too benevolent nor too miserly), and has a strong energy to get things done. Both Mars mounts are well developed, thus giving him ample qualities of both aggression and resilience. Given DeSantis’ Navy background, this is appropriate. The thumb seems longer on the major hand than minor hand, so he has matured into an individual with greater self-mastery than he had to start with. The Mercury finger is longish, giving him decent communication skills and business acumen, an important feature for a politician, especially in a reasonably mature democracy like the U.S. Now back to his thumb. When you look at it closely, surprisingly, it is the second phalange that is much long, with the first phalange to be of ordinary length. This is not an obstinate person: thus, not only he can communicate well, but he can listen also well, which makes one a truly good communicator, though some degree of impatience or impulsiveness as marked by his short, smooth-jointed fingers mitigates the same. The Mercury finger’s sticking out also adds some freedom to action, adding another degree of impulsiveness. All in all, a decent communicator but a moderately impulsive and/or impatient man. DeSantis’ is a very different hand than Trump’s in many ways, though rivals they may be both and though cut of the same cloth they may be seen by some in media. Trump, whose hand I have not discussed in a separate post so far as I lack good-quality photos of his hand, possesses an almost-elementary hand with a club-like thumb, pointing to a man with ungovernable passions and rage and high degree of impatience: a man who would not listen. Moving away from the Trump comparison, DeSantis shows some thick phalanges, especially the ones on his Jupiter finger on both hands. I would put him as a bit vain, especially of his achievements and/or position/status in society, and a bit of an over-eater.
Now let’s come to the lines/markings on the right-hand palm. Here is another picture as some lines can be seen better on the following photo:

(Ron DeSantis pictured in November 2021)
The heart line shows him to be an idealist, but it doesn’t seem to curve up into the Mount of Jupiter, so neither an altruistic idealist nor a romantic. But elsewhere, the Venus is nice and full and large, giving us a man who has warmth and passion. Relationship/marriage, which lets his fate continue as strong as it was, thus it being a good, harmonious relationship with respect to his fate, is clearly indicated at around the age of 27, and on verifying with media sources, it does appear that he met and dated his now-wife Casey Black when he was 27 or 28 before marrying her in around 3 years’ time.
The most notable feature on the palm of DeSantis is a very short life line and good-quality double fate lines. One of the two fate lines, which also is an equally good fate line, denoting an equally strong other career (that of a Navy man), ends at around the age of 30, and referring to Wikipedia, that is around when DeSantis moved back to the U.S. from Iraq, beginning as an attorney and then going on to be a legislator. This is where his second fate line, his primary one, takes over and continues strongly till this date. The short life line probably indicates that he feels a certain rootlessness or certain lack of stability. Probably it is this lack of feeling at home that makes him a bit vain, as we noted earlier. (But there is no inordinate vanity.) Wikipedia tells me that he did spend around 12-13 years of his childhood in one place, in Dunedin (Florida), so it does not seem that he was shifting all the time once he was 6 years old, but sometimes one may feel rootless even when one has been living in one place throughout one’s life. The Mount of Luna is normal and does not seem to show any excitability or restlessness, so this rootlessness seems not to have gotten out of hand. His current fate line seems to weaken around the age of 49, and, if one refers to the most recent photo of his that I have (see below), then there’s a break at around the age of 51, and then a new fate line starts, but not too far off: thus, a different career with slightly less motivation, but not too far off (but further off from his original Navy career). Note that there has always been a good Sun line in his hand, which, from its origin point, shows that the fame or success, if any, is by his own effort.

(Ron DeSantis as pictured in March 2023)
Now, as I do not have his hand in detail and thus I cannot see various influence lines, ridges, etc., so it would be a bold call, but I will make it as the likelihood looks high to me on seeing his fate and Sun lines: DeSantis will be a one-term U.S. President. He looks quite likely to win the 2024 elections but not the 2028 elections. At around the age of 47, when his drive weakens, it would be the year 2025-2026, and given what we have seen from the hands of former or current presidents such as Obama and Macron, often, the drive weakens once one has reached the highest possible position in political life even while one is in office. The break around the age of 51 makes it the year around 2029-2030: let us say, 2028 then. Thus, his present career seems to end around 2028, but he may continue in some kind of public role after that, as a not-too-far-removed career starts then. It is a break, but with an overlap, so he will find something to do soon rather than sit idle for long, but as it is not a split, it seems the 2028 elections loss could be unexpected. In spite of his short life line, I see an excellent health and long life in his hand, thus proving the fallacy of looking at life line only for longevity.
In a nutshell, I may very well be looking at the hands of the next U.S. President!
